The Riversharks, having a rough season at 49-71, came back from a 4-2 deficit to force extra innings only to lose to the Skeeters, 5-4 in the 10th inning.
Trading home runs the Sharks scored on a first inning two-run home-run by Carlos Guzman. The Skeeters would tie thte game on a third inning 2 run home-run from Travis Scott. The Skeeters would earn an additional 2 runs on a Delwyn Young 2-RBI double. The Sharks would come back with a Mike Rockett RBI single and a Zach MacPhee RBI sac fly. In the tenth the Skeeters’ Johan Limota hit a home-run for the Skeeter victory.
Prior to the game the Riversharks team was stationed in the mezzanine to sign autographs for the sparse crowd.

Campbell’s Field was a 6,425 seat baseball field in Camden, NJ located on the waterfront as part of an urban renweal project and is located in close proximity to the USS New Jersey and the Adventure Aquarium. Campbell’s Field was home to the Riversharks and the Rutgers University-Camden.
The first game played at Campbell’s Field was May 11, 2001…the Riversharks moved to New Britain, Ct in 2016 and the stadium was demolished in 2018
